First Visit Expectations

Below is an overview of what you can expect during your first visit to JNL Family Dental.

First appointments usually consist of an examination and review of your treatment options. Treatment can generally be done or started the same day as your consultation. However, if you have a complex medical history or require advanced treatment, we may require a more in-depth evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.

Before your visit, please provide the following information:

X-rays that were taken by a previous dentist, if applicable.

A list of medications you are presently taking.

If you have dental insurance, bring the necessary completed forms. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.

PLEASE NOTE: A parent or guardian must accompany ALL patients under the age of 18.

If you have a medical condition including diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc., OR if you are currently taking any medication, i.e., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc., please let us know before your appointment.

If your previous dentist or physician has taken x-rays, you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time for them to be mailed, please pick them up and bring them with you. Additional x-rays might be necessary, and we will take them on an as-needed basis.

Once your exam is complete, Dr. Jung or Dr. Lee will talk with you about their findings. Together you can create a healthy, effective treatment plan that best meets your dental and personal requirements. We can prioritize and stagger your treatments to give you a smile you deserve in a timeframe you can afford.

We want you to know we will go above and beyond to make you feel relaxed and safe. Not only is your physical comfort important to us, but your emotional well-being is, too.
